So me and Crystal went to Tonala and bought stuff. We had the best enchiladas! And used the scariest toilet ever!

At night we followed Ashley to the Apple store and found the Hard Rock Café. There was a Green Day song playing when we went in to buy t-shirts. It was a 50 peso cover charge so we said “flag”. Then we went out and saw the poster for them and tried to translate. Turns out that there were four Blink 182 and Green Day cover bands playing!! We missed the first hour and a half but they were playing for another two and a half hours!! So we forked out the 50 pesos and went and bopped around with all the little emo kids inside. Tequila shots were had and we decided to get something to eat and drink. Back in and we were jumping around with everyone again. I saw this chick struggling to be pulled up on stage so I dragged Cynthia over to the stage and jumped up. Turns out that they wanted us to dance together (and later I found out that they wanted to see an interracial kiss!). She got all freaked out and dragged the lead singer on stage and danced with him and left me to shake my bum by myself. I got myself a signed poster so I was happy. Then later I saw they were handing out a CD so I pushed Cynthia on stage and she pulled me up with her. Turns out they wanted to see tangas! She played dumb but showed her granny panties anyway and got the CD!!

We jumped and screamed and sung…it was the BEST time!! I so belong here!

Then later a bunch of kids were jumping around like crazy and I some how ended up surrounded by crazy jumping boys and Cynthia ended up on the outside. I just jumped along with them but they were moving in a wave and I ended up getting knocked on my behind, losing a flip-flop and stood on by some random emo kid! I got my bum up and got the heck outta there! I never fit in this much in Sydney!!

Green Day and Blink 182 cover bands…on stage…photos…won a poster…got stood on in a crowd of jumping emos…got Cynthia a CD for showing her non-existent thong…

This post is a shout out to my grandparents. My grandma has been sick for a while and it’s about time that she made it onto the internet.

My grandma used to look after me and make me carrot juice to drink out of a bottle. She knitted me SO many jerseys…the most memorable being a pink one with a panda bear. She also taught me how to knit and I made half a rainbow coloured scarf. And we used to have dinner at her place every Sunday and her roast chickens were the best!

There’s so much more to say but I can’t write it all right now. The last time I saw her was 10 February 2007.

Today I wished we had those foam stick “boffers” coz I think we’re all at the point where if we could smack the doodies out of each other it would be kinda fun

We’re one week away from being certified. One week away from lying on the beach/bitch. Two lessons to teach tonight…one conversation class and one peer observed class. Motivation is out the window.

I think we might be going out to the casino tonight and then to buy souvenir t-shirts at the Hard Rock.

And I found this really cool Italian podcast online so I downloaded it and started listening last night. Must try and learn…

Well since I avoided doing my essay I had to write my whole essay last night! And I had to be quick coz it was Miguel’s last night and we were all gonna do something cool. We ended up going to a cool techno bar and everyone BUT Miguel got in (he didn’t have any ID on him). So he ended up going home and we (me, Cynthia and Crystal) stayed on. We eventually went back and woke Miguel up who was passed out on his bed. Then we decided to have a sleepover! We seem to have a tendency to do these things. Maybe it’s a girl thing.

This morning was fun…after four uncomfortable hours of sleep I got up, had a shower and went to teach my 8am class. Can anybody tell me what argh is? (Arghis?)

The day dragged and lunchtime came round. Me and Fermín decided to not go back to school coz we didn’t have any classes to teach and I got treated to a final duo concert given by Fermín and Miguel. Great idea on bringing your electric guitar and amp!

Miguel was leaving just before 8pm and he decided to make quesadillas at the last minute. They were the BEST! With delicious melted cheese…mmmm…cheese!

There were no tears when he left but now we realise we’re going to have to do this in two weeks time and it ain’t gonna be pretty! Darn making BFFs for only a month!
