Yesterday was relatively uneventful. A guy came into trying to sell some necklace for some hundreds of euros. I declined straight away and repeatedly but he just wouldn’t get the hint.

Me and Mads watched Borat which was awesome as he hadn’t seen it before. I will never tire of that movie! Then I went online and did some stuff and chatted to Kat (yay!) and then went to bed…only to realise the clock on the computer I had been using was an hour behind so I had even less sleep left than I thought! (Yes I actually did realise the time was wrong earlier but I forgot coz I’m like that.)

For once, the weather was nice too! It actually rained a little and was cool ::shock horror::

Today was also relatively uneventful…I got to go home early as I stayed late the last two days.

Oh, Enrico finally got his sponsorship through! Passport’s stamped, he’s officially allowed to come and go from Australia until 2011! Congratulations retard!!!

I came home for spaghetti bolognese (for the third night in a row) and then had a wee nap (due to my lack of sleep last night).

I have been playing around with Photoshop too, coz I’m a geek. We’ll see what I can cook up…

Oh, and yesterday I saw Nek performing at Festivalbar on tv!! He’d better be doing a concert soon!!!

Last night I met a girl from the States at the hostel and we ended up going down to the river to have a look at stuff (coz I must do the touristy thing otherwise I’m just recommending places that I have never seen before!).

When we got back everyone was still up so I sat and chatted about the finer art of the Italian and Spanish languages until 4:30am then finally went to bed.

Today I got up late, went to the supermarket cooked spaghetti bolognese and am generally chilling out.

I keep meeting a lot of travellers which is cool but of course they move on after a day or two so I’m guessing this is what the summer is going to be like

I figured that I’m fine saying things but once I get the response it’s goes something like this, “Huh? Puo ripetere per favore?”

I called a taxi in Italian today and it actually arrived!! Another victory!

I also got chatting to a couple from the States/Mexico. Oh how I miss Mexico :cwy:

Well I started at another hotel today. Man alive. They put me there coz they only speak Italian…what a challenge! Going from not speaking a word of Italian (aside from the bad things) to a month later and working in an Italian only environment! Talk about a steep learning curve!

The boss lady is funny. It took me a while to figure it out but she writes things phonetically in Italian so Joshua becomes Giosciua, freedom becomes fridem and John becomes Gion.

At first I wondered what I had gotten myself into with working in Italian only, but I think it’s gonna be a good thing. A case of must-do rather than would-like-to-do.
