Right, I’m three weeks away from setting off on the next leg of what I like to call my “Great Big Trip”. I guess I should really start getting back into the blogging groove again. So here we go…

Festival accommodation

Today I booked accommodation for my stay in Paris for Rock En Seine. I was a click away from booking a horrible sounding hostel because of its location but then had a moment of clarity where I thought I would check to see if the line-up had been posted and it had. No need to worry about public transport closing before the festival finishes! And look at that, Simple Plan and My Chemical Romance are playing one after the other on the same stage. Guess where I’ll be!

Take me out to the ball game…

Late last night I remembered that I wanted to go and see a baseball game while I was in the States and I found that the Yankees sell $5 tickets. So I waited until tonight when I wasn’t drifting off to sleep and bought myself a ticket. After $6.80 worth of fees (on a $5 ticket) I now have a terrace ticket waiting for me at will call at Yankee Stadium for 19 September to see the New York Yankees play the Minnesota Twins. Bring on the hotdogs!
