Saturday, July 10th, 2010

I am happy to announce that I have made the following pyschobilly/pin-up purchases:

Hell Bunny Picnic dress - front

Hell Bunny Picnic dress - back

Hell Bunny Picnic dress – £19.95

Pleaser Contessa - strawberry

Pleaser Contessa shoes – $39.53

Iron Fist Oh No - yellow

Iron Fist Oh No shoes – yellow – $37.00

I may possibly be in love with these shoes. I’m fairly sure I won’t be saying that once I put my feet into them but gosh darn are they pretty?!

handbag III

I found the bag I was looking for a few weeks back in Reading today. It looked better in my memories. It was brown in reality and not nearly as pretty but still just as cheap. I resisted seeing as I’d just purchased a new set of snowboarding gear when I’ve yet to use my other (brand new) set… eep.

In other news, I bought my first pair of girly shoes today… in all their pointy glory they stand.

Cute shoes and books

Yay for postal services being back up and running (for now). I came home to find my pretty new handpainted slip-on imitation Vans waiting for me! They’re so cute with an emo boy on one of them and a punk-y boy on the other. I must take photos of them before I wear them and they go all grey from London streets.

The new book I’m reading, Blood, Sweat and Tea really grounds you. It makes you wonder why you stress so much about things at work when your work isn’t a matter of life or death. The book isn’t that heavy but it is thought-provoking.
